Space, time, and conflict…

With the rise of Nationalist feelings across a battened down Europe, and the possibility of a Reactionary president in the White House appearing ever more likely, a very timely post from Tom.

As we said last week…those who are psychologically separated from others — and this goes far beyond merely the human species — are also, by the very intrinsic nature of things, separat…

About Running Elk

My given native name, Running Elk, was bestowed in 2008 as I took my first steps as a fully fledged Medicine Man of the Zuni tradition. A most unlikely candidate for the role, my journey as a healer began some four years prior. The detour onto the shamanic way was most unexpected, yet has been one of the most rewarding challenges to date.

  1. Isn’t it terrifying about the White House possibilities? Damage is being done as this campaign goes on. It’s the worst I can remember and we had some bad ones!!

It has certainly become an interesting spectator sport this side of the pond. I have to believe that, somehow, it is reflective of the time and, as such, is a birthing, of sorts, that we all have to go through. xx

  2. Thank you, Running Elk! The elks won’t be the only things running if DT gets into the White House! Hitler, too, promised economic reform and prosperity… and Hitler, too, caused separation and division between people. Although we are not much into politics, we are donating more and more to the Bernie Sanders campaign; he, at least, is honest, rational, and full of real passion for the environment. I’ll be donating more (online) in a few minutes.
One political party even denies that the environment is in jeopardy! Scientists have recently found that the rate of carbon greenhouse emissions taking place now surpasses those that caused the Paleocene/Eocene extinction event by 10 times! Time is running out!

The parallels are all rather worrying, Tom. Whilst completey baffled by the vagaries and subtleties of the Caucus system, we remain hopeful that, when it comes to November, the people will make the “most” right choice. Irrespective, since, when America sneezes the rest of the World catches cold, we are all holding our breath… 😉
